Shading Sails, large size in Tentmesh Textout mesh with craftsmanship
Shading sails are becoming very popular, both for their shading functionality and for the pleasant aesthetic effects they can give to the environments in which they are installed.
On this page we present shading sails of large size, that is, with one or more sides having a length greater than about 4.20 meters, which having a greater surface area exposed to the wind, need more robust construction techniques to withstand the greater stresses. If your spaces require medium-small shading sail sizes, you can view the Shading Sails, small sizes page.
There are various materials on the market with which to make a shading sail, from the cheapest to the most expensive, as well as there are various techniques for making and installing it.
The following gallery of completed works presents Tentmesh Texout mesh shading sails, said sails are shaped on the sides, with slightly concave shaped sides, to achieve the best possible shape once they are put under traction.
The workmanship is all handcrafted, each side contains an internally PVC-coated fold for the internal sliding of a 7 mm nylon nautical rope, and each corner is reinforced with a triple-layer PVC triangle with a stainless steel anchor ring in the center.
Our experience led us to create this tensile system to ensure optimum sail tension and double-bonding for greater safety in the wind, as visible in images 6 and 7, where the tying of the sails to the anchor poles or plates is done either by the nylon ropes running in the side pockets or by anchoring to the steel eyelet.
In some environments with possible very strong wind thrusts, an additional perimeter rope is also placed to serve as a frame for the sail itself, and to which the sail is further attached, by means of nylon ties, via the optional loops sewn on its perimeter.
Unlike some shading sails that can be purchased already made, or made to measure simply and/or with materials that are not very durable, the economic commitment to make net with a Tentmesh Texout mesh sail and with this our technique is more demanding, but it is a long-lasting investment that offers significant guarantees in the safety of the sail's hold to wind stresses and its efficiency over the years
Each sail is made to measure, according to the needs and anchor points requested or provided by the Customer, and since the roll of Tentmesh Texout netting is 3.00 meters in height, for the realization of shading sails of lage size, the sheet will consist of several pieces, as visible in the gallery images.
Through our Partners we can make the anchor plates on wall, as in Figure 8, as well as carbon steel poles with thickness from mm 3 both with round and square section, in execution with only hot-dip galvanization as well as with primer finish and epoxy powder coating, in almost all RAL colors.
Generally, for a stable hold, poles are equipped with a base counterplate, fitted with anchor bars to be cemented into the appropriate dig, and bolts for coupling with the pole itself.
All seams on our shading sails are made of nylon/cotton blend thread.
The basic coloring for Tentmesh Texout mesh used by us, and always available in our warehouse, is 759 Natural, as in the pictures in the gallery, upon request and with appropriate square footage, an extensive color catalog can be accessed.
